Languages We Speak

Some things at Costa SA-LA have always sounded better in Spanish.

La Toalla. La Nevera. Casa. Mar.

Others arrived in English and never needed changing.

Movement. Pause. Places.

And then there are the things that somehow became a language of their own.

We stopped waiting for summer.™

A sentence that started with summer and somehow found its way into what we wear, where we go, what we bring home and how we see the coast.

So somewhere between the English and the español, another language started forming.

Not one you need to study.

Just one you start recognizing after you’ve been around for a while.

A little linen.
Un poco de sal.
A bag with sand at the bottom.
A house that feels better with the windows open.
A flight booked because the coast was calling.

English has a word for some of it.

Español has a word for some of it.

And the rest?

That’s Costa SA-LA.
